Insider Ratings
|
|
|
EZ-Insider's Insider Ratings metric differentiates it from other research services
by helping the user identify smart insiders on both the long- and short-side.
Insider Ratings provide a visually concise and historically complete picture of
an insider's performance. This enables the users to quickly identify highly significant
activity at a glance.
Based upon over twenty years of historical insider trading data, Insider Ratings
weigh factors including the magnitude, consistency, and value of an insider's historical
returns. Insiders receive ratings for long (purchase) and short (sale and exercise/sale)
transactions. The ratings also recalculate based upon the return period and market
adjustment factors selected by the user.
The Insider Rating scale runs from three green bars awarded to consistent outperformers,
to three red bars for consistent underperformers. Insider Ratings can be used as
criteria in reports and in filtering to screen for the most important insider activity.
