July 2026 144 Market Report
Aggregate 144 Market Volume
In July 2026, the total reported value of Form 144s fell 54% from June, in conjunction with similar declines in the number of shares and filings. There were 53% fewer discretionary filings in July than in June, with the value and shares of nonplanned filings falling 71% and 65%, respectively. However, this slowdown in the Form 144 Market is not surprising due to pre-earnings blackout periods. When comparing July 2026 to July 2025, total value increased 13% and shares registered rose 12%. This year’s figures seem to be in line with the usual July 144 market activity from prior years.
